Teacher: Emily Giordano
My name is Emily Giordano. This is my first year at the Laura Lee, but my 8th year in the Lowell Public School district, with the first seven spent at the Wang Middle in the adjustment program. I teach all subjects, grades 5-8. A quote I live by, instilled in me by my mentor, is “Be the Calm.” Students come to us in various states of regulation, and it is vital that we remain calm and guide them through challenging situations, whether academic, emotional, or behavioral. When not working, I can be found hanging out with my husband, reading books, or lounging about with my dog, Franklin.

Hello! My name is Ed and this is my 10th year working at the Laura Lee. I enjoy taking the students on walks and shooting hoops in the schoolyard. When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my wife and kids. I also enjoy golfing and watching sports on T.V.
