Board Certified Behavior Analyst:  Christina Welch

Hi, my name is Christina Welch and I am the behavior analyst (BCBA) at the Laura Lee Therapeutic Day School. Before joining Laura Lee, I worked as a special education teacher in the Adjustment Program at Wang Middle School. I grew up in Lowell and, even though I no longer live here, it will always feel like home to me. Because of that, I feel really lucky to be part of Lowell Public Schools.

Over the years, I have focused on building strong relationships with students and helping create learning environments where students feel comfortable being themselves, taking academic risks, and working on self-regulation skills. I love helping students find ways to be successful while supporting staff and families along the way.

When I’m not at school, I’m usually spending time with my husband, daughters, and our two very energetic (but extremely lovable!) dogs.
